NBAA-BACE is the annual convention of the National Business Aviation Association, and since the cancellation of its European counterpart it is without serious rival as the business aviation industry's selling event.

The exhibition floor covers the whole supply chain — airframers, engine and avionics makers, completions and interiors houses, charter and fractional operators, brokers, finance and insurance, maintenance networks, ground handlers and flight-department software — alongside an education programme covering safety, operations, maintenance, regulation and flight-department management.

It is a trade event, closed to the general public, and its rhythm reflects that: exhibitors work the floor, buyers move between the halls and Henderson on shuttle buses, and the evenings run on manufacturer and operator hospitality across the Strip.

01Why it matters

This is where business aircraft are shown, ordered and financed, and where the operators who fly them meet the regulators who oversee them. Its importance rose sharply in 2026, when EBAA cancelled EBACE in Geneva and left Europe without an equivalent, concentrating the industry's annual gathering in a single American week.

02The week around it

Las Vegas in late October is at its best and the convention is one of several large shows sharing the month, so hotel rates are high without being at their January peak.

03When to arrive

Arrive Monday.

04Where to stay

The Convention Center district at the north end of the Strip is the practical choice: the Westgate, Resorts World, the Wynn and Encore and the Venetian complex are all within a short walk or a monorail stop of the halls. Mid-Strip properties add fifteen minutes each way.

05Access and hospitality

NBAA-BACE is a trade show. Registration is open to industry professionals and accredited media rather than the public, with NBAA members receiving preferential rates and several tiers of access covering the exhibition, the education sessions and the static display.

06Where the social activity happens

The bars and restaurants of the north Strip resorts carry the week, with manufacturer and operator dinners in the private rooms of the Venetian, Wynn and Resorts World complexes.

07Getting there

Commercial aviationHarry Reid International is fifteen to twenty minutes from the Convention Center and about the same from Henderson, with the widest domestic network in the American West and growing international service.
RailNone.
CarInterstate 15 and the 215 beltway connect the Strip to Henderson in about twenty-five minutes.
Private aviationThis is the point of the week.
HelicopterHelicopter operations run from Harry Reid's general-aviation area, primarily for sightseeing rather than transfers.

08Practicalities

DressBusiness dress on the floor and practical shoes for the static display, which is an exposed desert ramp with long walking distances.
WeatherLate October in Las Vegas is close to ideal: dry, sunny afternoons in the mid-twenties Celsius, cool evenings in the low teens, and almost no rain.
Getting aroundShuttle buses between the Convention Center and Henderson Executive Airport are the practical link and run frequently; allow forty-five minutes each way including boarding.
HotelsOctober is a heavy convention month in Las Vegas and the Convention Center hotels fill first, at rates well above the monthly average.
RestaurantsResort restaurants and their private rooms are heavily booked for exhibitor dinners across the three days.
Reservation timingHotels three to five months ahead; restaurant private rooms three months ahead.
TicketsRegistration is through NBAA and is limited to business aviation professionals and accredited media, with member and non-member rates and separate passes for the education programme.
HospitalityNBAA sells exhibition space, chalets and static display positions. Hospitality around the show — manufacturer dinners, operator receptions, customer events at the resorts — is run independently by exhibitors on their own invitation lists.

09History

NBAA was founded in 1947 as a trade association for corporate flight departments, and its annual meeting grew alongside the industry it represents, from a small operators' conference into a convention with a floor plan measured in acres.

10Who is there

Corporate flight department managers and chief pilots; aircraft owners and their advisers; manufacturer sales and engineering teams; charter, fractional and management operators; brokers, appraisers, financiers and insurers; maintenance, completions and interiors firms; avionics and software suppliers; regulators from the Federal Aviation Administration and abroad; and specialist aviation press.
