Date PrevistoNo 2027 calendar had been published by Global Champions when checked on 6 September 2026; the site was taking expressions of interest for the 2027 London leg only. The Monaco stage has been held on a Thursday-to-Saturday at the end of June or the start of July every year since 2006, which puts 2027 at approximately 1–3 July. The tour normally publishes its full calendar in the autumn or early winter.

View of Port Hercule (Port Hercules) in Monaco with luxury yachts and superyachts moored in the harbour, Longines Global Champions Tour of Monaco The "Principality of Monaco" is a tiny country on the south coast of France, facing onto the Mediterranean Sea, Longines Global Champions Tour of Monaco A view of this famous city over the harbour, filled with mega-expensive yachts, Longines Global Champions Tour of Monaco

For three days at the turn of June and July, the quay at Port Hercule is covered in sand and turned into a show jumping arena. The Longines Global Champions Tour of Monaco is a CSI five-star fixture, run against the harbour with the rock of the Prince's Palace above, on the same quay the Formula 1 pit lane occupies six weeks earlier.

The Saturday-evening Grand Prix du Prince de Monaco is jumped under lights. Capacity is genuinely small — a few thousand across the temporary grandstands.

01Perché è rilevante

The Monaco leg is where show jumping meets the Riviera season, between the Grand Prix in late May and the August exodus to the islands. In our reading its constraint is its appeal: the arena cannot be made bigger, so the atmosphere stays closer to a private show than a stadium.

02La settimana intorno all'evento

Monaco in early July is at the front of its summer, with the harbour filling with yachts. The show closes roads around the port for the best part of a week.

03Quando arrivare

Come Thursday and stay through Saturday; the Grand Prix on Saturday evening is the reason to be there and the hardest ticket.

04Dove alloggiare

Monaco is small enough that everything is walkable, and La Condamine above the port is closest to the arena; Cap d'Ail and Beausoleil are cheaper, and Nice is thirty minutes away.

05Accesso e ospitalità

Tickets are sold through the Global Champions ticketing platform, covering grandstand seating by day and hospitality along the arena, with Saturday selling first and the quay's physical constraint making the event genuinely limited.

06Dove si svolge l'attività sociale

The arena side of Port Hercule and the terraces of the yachts moored along the quay, which give the event its particular look; then the Quai Antoine 1er restaurants and the bars of La Condamine.

07Come arrivare

Aviazione commercialeNice Côte d'Azur is 30 kilometres west, about forty minutes by road.
TrenoMonaco–Monte-Carlo is twenty-five minutes from Nice, with the port a ten-minute walk down.
AutoThe A8 and the Moyenne Corniche; the port is closed during the show.
Aviazione privataNice's business aviation terminal is the regional hub.
ElicotteroThe Monaco Heliport runs a seven-minute shuttle from Nice airport.
MarinePort Hercule is the arena's setting and fully booked.

08Aspetti pratici

AbbigliamentoNo formal dress code is published and none is enforced. The convention is Riviera summer: linen, a light jacket, a summer dress, and — because the arena is on a quay in July and the Grand Prix is jumped in the evening — something that works in heat by day and cooler after dark. Hospitality tables are dressed a step up.
MeteoEarly July in Monaco is hot and dry; the quay holds heat and the grandstands have limited shade, so the evening Grand Prix is the most comfortable session.
Come spostarsiMonaco is walkable end to end; the train from Nice is the simplest arrival and driving in during the show is not worth the trouble.
HotelEarly July is high season and Monaco's room stock is small; book by spring, or take Beausoleil, Cap d'Ail or Nice.
RistorantiThe port-side restaurants along the Quai Antoine 1er are busy all three evenings; the Monte-Carlo hotel dining rooms take July bookings well ahead.
Tempistiche di prenotazioneTour tickets go on sale several months ahead once the calendar is confirmed, and the small capacity means Saturday seats go early.
BigliettiSold through the Global Champions ticketing platform, with day tickets for grandstand seating and separate hospitality products; there is no free public vantage point as at Epsom or Badminton.
OspitalitàArena-side hospitality and club packages are the tour's principal commercial product, with inclusions published per package; partner hospitality is not on public sale.

09Storia

Monaco has hosted an international jumping competition on the harbour since the tour's first season in 2006, and the 2026 edition was the twentieth, the count having lost a year to the pandemic. It is staged by Global Champions with the principality's own equestrian federation, under the patronage of the princely family.

10Chi è presente

The international show jumping community — riders, owners and ownership syndicates, several based in the region; the Global Champions League team owners; Longines and the tour's partners; and Monaco residents.
