The Autodromo Nazionale Monza was built in 1922 inside the park of the royal villa and remains one of the oldest purpose-built circuits in championship use. The lap is 5.793 kilometers of long straights punctuated by chicanes; cars run their lowest-downforce configuration of the season and average speeds are the highest of the year.

The setting is unlike any other Grand Prix: mature parkland, grandstands under trees, the abandoned banked oval still standing in the woods, and large general admission areas on the grass.

Monza has been on every Formula 1 calendar but one since 1950, and the Italian Grand Prix predates the championship by three decades. In our reading it is the best value of any major city Grand Prix: an affordable ticket, good general admission, and a host city thirty minutes away.

02前後の週

Milan fills rather than closes: hotel demand rises, restaurant bookings tighten in Brera, and the trains north run heavily from Friday. Monza absorbs the crowd into the park rather than the streets, and the park's paths and the Villa Reale stay open.

03到着時期

Friday, staying to Monday. Milan is worth two extra days, and the Sunday return from Monza is slow.

Milan is the practical base: the center around the Duomo and Brera for walkable evenings, Porta Nuova for newer hotels and station access, Navigli for restaurants and lower prices. Staying near Centrale or Porta Garibaldi shortens the daily journey.

The circuit sells tickets through its appointed ticketing platform, in grandstands and extensive parkland general admission areas, with weekend and single-day options and separate hospitality products; Formula 1's Paddock Club operates at the round.

民間航空Linate (LIN) is closest; Malpensa (MXP) carries long-haul, Bergamo (BGY) low-cost.
鉄道Trains from Milano Centrale reach Monza in about fifteen minutes, then a walk through the park.
車A4 and the Milan ring roads; parking is limited and the exit is slow.
プライベート航空Linate, twenty-five minutes from the circuit.
ヘリコプターTransfers from Milan and Lake Como; no public access at the venue.

服装Warm-weather clothing and shoes for gravel and grass. Milan in the evening dresses better than most European cities.
天気Early September in Lombardy is warm and often humid, with a chance of a thunderstorm off the Alps; the park's tree cover helps.

ホテルMilan has deep stock, though rates rise and central hotels go two to three months ahead. Monza's own supply is taken by teams.

09沿革

The Italian Grand Prix was first run in 1921 at Brescia, and Monza was built the following year inside the royal park in a matter of months. The circuit originally combined a road course with a banked oval, whose concrete remains stand in the trees. Chicanes were added from 1972.
