Ngày Ngày chờ xác nhậnThe 2027 Formula 1 calendar had not been published as of 6 September 2026 and the promoter's site carried no 2027 dates. No reliable pattern exists to estimate from: the race has drifted from mid-September in 2023 and 2024 to early October in 2025 and the second weekend of October in 2026, following the calendar's regional reordering rather than a fixed date. October is given as the typical month. Singapore's contract with Formula 1 runs to 2028, so an edition is expected.

Singapore's Grand Prix is run in the dark on 4.927 kilometers of city road around Marina Bay, under a projector array built to light the surface without dazzling drivers. It was the first night race Formula 1 held, staged in 2008 so European audiences could watch in the early evening, and the arrangement has been copied since without being improved on. The circuit passes the Padang and the colonial civic district, crosses the Anderson Bridge and runs back around the Marina Bay Sands complex; sixty-two laps take close to two hours in heat that does not drop after sunset.

The layout changed in 2023, when the sequence at turns sixteen to nineteen was removed for the construction of NS Square and replaced by a long flat-out section, cutting lap times by roughly ten seconds. In 2026 the meeting ran as a sprint weekend.

Around the racing, Singapore built a festival inside the circuit walls, with concert stages, food halls and open zones connected by walkways.

01Lý do quan trọng

Singapore invented the template that Miami, Las Vegas and Jeddah now work from: a street race in a city center, at night, sold as an entertainment weekend, with a national tourism agency as a partner rather than a bystander. Its autumn timing puts it among a dense regional programme of finance conferences, which is why hotel pressure extends well beyond ticket holders. In our reading it is the best-run event of its type on the calendar, and the one where the non-racing programme is worth the ticket rather than an excuse for it.

02Tuần lễ xung quanh sự kiện

Road closures around Marina Bay build through the preceding fortnight and become total in the civic district by Thursday. Singapore handles this better than most host cities: the MRT runs extended hours, stations inside the circuit stay open, and routing through the malls and underground links keeps the district usable. Hotels around the bay and Orchard Road fill with race visitors and the regional business traffic that schedules itself into the same days.

03Thời điểm đến

Arrive Wednesday or Thursday: practice begins Friday, the heat and the time difference each take a day to absorb, and Thursday evening is the last comfortable moment to move around the civic district. Stay through Monday.

04Nơi lưu trú

Marina Bay is the circuit-side choice, putting the track below the window and the concert stages within walking distance, at the price of being inside the closure. The Civic District and Bras Basah are quieter and still walkable, Orchard Road is the largest pool of rooms ten minutes away by MRT, and Robertson Quay and Tanjong Pagar suit visitors who want restaurants rather than proximity.

05Tiếp cận và tiếp đón

The promoter sells a zoned structure around the bay: walkabout tickets allowing movement between viewing areas and entertainment zones, reserved grandstand seats in each zone, premium walkabout products, trackside hospitality suites, and Formula 1's Paddock Club. The concert programme has long been included with race tickets rather than sold separately, which is the most distinctive thing about the access model. The event has generally remained purchasable in the months before the race.

06Nơi diễn ra các hoạt động giao lưu

Inside the circuit, the concert stages and zone plazas hold the public evening. Outside it, the rooftop bars along Marina Bay are the visible center of the week, with the restaurants and clubs of Clarke Quay, Boat Quay and Robertson Quay, the cocktail bars of Tanjong Pagar and Amoy Street, and Dempsey Hill for quieter dinners. Almost all of it is public or ticketed.

07Hướng dẫn di chuyển

Hàng không thương mạiChangi (SIN) is one of Asia's principal hubs, about 20 km from the circuit and reachable by road or MRT; race weekend is among its busiest.
Đường sắtThe MRT is the correct way in. City Hall, Esplanade, Promenade, Bayfront and Marina Bay stations sit inside or beside the circuit, with extended hours.
Xe hơiDriving into the civic district during the closure is impractical. Taxi and rideshare points move outside the perimeter and the MRT clears the crowd faster.
hàng không tư nhânSeletar (XSP) is Singapore's business-aviation field, with Changi also handling private movements; slot pressure is significant.
Trực thăngThere is no meaningful civil helicopter transfer market for visitors and no public helicopter access to the circuit.
Bến du thuyềnONE degree 15 Marina at Sentosa Cove and the Marina at Keppel Bay are the main berths, on the south side rather than the circuit's water; Marina Bay is a closed reservoir.

08Thông tin thực tiễn

Trang phụcHeat and humidity govern everything: light, breathable clothing and shoes that tolerate several kilometers of walking and a downpour. Nothing at the circuit requires more, though the hotel bars, clubs and rooftops apply their own standards after dark.
Thời tiếtSingapore sits one degree north of the equator and its weather does not vary by season. Expect around thirty degrees Celsius by day, humidity that barely falls after sunset, and a real chance of heavy evening thunderstorms; the humidity is why this is the hardest race of the year on drivers.
Di chuyển trong khu vựcUse the MRT and plan around the closures, remembering that crossing the circuit happens by bridge and underpass at fixed points. Distances inside the circuit are larger than they look, and walking between zones in the heat takes longer than the plan suggests.
Khách sạnDemand in the central districts is at its annual peak and rates around Marina Bay reflect it, with minimum stays common. Rooms are available because the stock is deep, but bay-facing and circuit-facing rooms are sold months ahead, often as packages.
Nhà hàngThe central districts book out for Friday and Saturday, and many rooms in the bayside hotels are taken for private events. Hawker centres and the food halls inside the circuit stay accessible throughout, which is both the cheapest and best-regarded way to eat.
Thời điểm đặt chỗHotels three to six months ahead for Marina Bay; restaurants three to six weeks; grandstands and hospitality from the previous autumn. Long-haul flights rise earliest.
VéSold by Singapore GP Pte Ltd through the official site, zoned around the bay, with walkabout tickets, reserved grandstand seats, premium walkabout products and single-day or three-day options. The concert programme is included with race tickets. Category names should be checked against the official site.
Tiếp đónFormula 1's Paddock Club operates at Singapore, and the promoter sells its own trackside suites and an all-access pit building product. Corporate hospitality inside the circuit is extensive; hotel-based entertaining around the bay is arranged privately and is not part of the programme.

09Lịch sử

Singapore held a Grand Prix at Thomson Road under Formula Libre rules between 1966 and 1973, on a public-road circuit remembered for its danger. The modern race is a different project: conceived in the mid-2000s with government backing, promoted by Singapore GP Pte Ltd, and first run in September 2008 as Formula 1's first night event. Its opening edition was later overshadowed by a race-fixing scandal that produced one of the sport's largest governance controversies. The contract was renewed in January 2022 to run through 2028.

10Ai có mặt ở đây

Regional followers from across Southeast Asia, Australia and Japan; the finance, private banking and technology industries that use Singapore as a base; global sponsors running Asian activations; expatriate residents; and a large local audience on walkabout tickets who come as much for the concerts.
