Datums VerwachtNo 2027 Global Champions calendar had been published when checked on 6 September 2026. The Paris stage has been held on a Friday-to-Sunday in the second half of June in most editions, which puts 2027 at approximately 18–20 June. The tour normally releases the following season's calendar in the autumn or early winter, and the Paris leg's placement has shifted before when Paris hosted other major events.

The Champ de Mars (Field of Mars) is a large public greenspace in Paris, Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping Eiffel Tower from the park, Paris, Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping Champ-de-Mars, Paris, Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping At the Champ de Mars an overgrown lawn, fenced off to the public, due to COVID-19, Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping

The Champ de Mars is a public park, and for three days in June a section of it becomes a sand arena with the Eiffel Tower standing over the finish. Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping is the French capital's stage of the Longines Global Champions Tour, a CSI five-star fixture drawing the sport's top-ranked riders, with the Grand Prix on Sunday afternoon.

The arena is enclosed and ticketed; the rest of the park stays open, and a substantial crowd watches the atmosphere from outside the fencing without a ticket.

01Waarom het relevant is

Paris gives the Global Champions Tour its most photographed stage and gives Parisians a major sporting fixture in the 7th arrondissement. In our reading its significance is more to the sport than to the calendar: it put show jumping in front of a general international audience.

02De week eromheen

Late June is the fullest stretch of the Paris summer before the city empties in August. The Fête de la Musique falls on 21 June and fills every quarter with free street performance, and the men's fashion shows run in the same fortnight.

03Wanneer aan te komen

Come Friday and stay through Sunday; the Grand Prix on Sunday afternoon is the event, and Paris rewards leaving Monday.

04Waar te verblijven

The 7th arrondissement, around the Rue Cler and the Invalides, is a short walk from the arena but has limited hotel stock, so most visitors stay central and take the Métro.

05Toegang en hospitality

Tickets are sold through the Global Champions ticketing platform, with day admission and hospitality packages along the arena; the stands are modest and Sunday is the constrained session.

06Waar de sociale activiteit plaatsvindt

The arena-side hospitality terraces and the brand village; the lawns of the Champ de Mars immediately outside; and the restaurants of the Rue Saint-Dominique and the Rue Cler.

07Hoe u er komt

Commerciële luchtvaartCharles de Gaulle and Orly both serve Paris; Orly is closer to the 7th.
TreinEurostar reaches Gare du Nord in about two and a quarter hours; locally, Métro line 6 or RER C.
AutoDriving in central Paris in June is not worth attempting.
PrivéluchtvaartParis–Le Bourget, thirty minutes north.

08Praktische informatie

DresscodeNo dress code is published and none is applied in the public stands. The convention is Paris summer daywear — a linen jacket or a summer dress, sunglasses, and shoes that handle gravel and grass — with hospitality tables a step smarter. The arena is open to the sun for most of the afternoon, so shade matters more than anything ceremonial.
WeerThe second half of June in Paris is warm and mostly dry, though the city has recorded serious heat in this week, and the Champ de Mars offers almost no shade.
Verplaatsing ter plaatseThe Métro and RER put you within a few minutes' walk from anywhere central; taxis struggle around the Eiffel Tower at the end of each day.
HotelsLate June is high season and the 7th has relatively few hotels; book a couple of months ahead for anything within walking distance.
RestaurantsThe restaurants of the Rue Saint-Dominique, the Rue Cler and the Avenue de la Bourdonnais fill across the three evenings.
ReserveringstimingTour tickets go on sale once the season calendar is published, and Sunday seating and hospitality tighten first.
TicketsSold through the Global Champions ticketing platform: day admission to the grandstands, plus separate hospitality products. The surrounding park stays open, so the event can be experienced from outside the fencing, though the course is not visible from there.
HospitalityArena-side dining and club packages are sold with published inclusions; partner and team hospitality is not on public sale.

09Geschiedenis

The show was founded in 2014 on the Champ de Mars, taking its name from the tower and from the family association behind its creation, and joined the tour as the French capital's five-star stage. Its placement has been adjusted when the Champ de Mars was required for larger occasions, including the 2024 Olympic Games.

10Wie is er

The international show jumping community and the Global Champions League team ownership; Longines and the tour's partner brands; the French equestrian public; and a substantial general audience drawn by the location.
