One marque, judged strictly. Cavallino Classic is a concours for Ferraris alone, run by the publisher of Cavallino magazine and scored under the IAC/PFA guidelines, the standards body for Ferrari preservation. Judges assess each car against factory specification and, in the organizer's own framing, a score of ninety-seven points earns a Platinum award. Cars must be correct and unmodified to be accepted, and entries go through a selection committee.
The Saturday is the Concorso d'Eleganza proper, on the grounds of The Boca Raton resort. The Sunday, called Classic and Sports Sunday, is a lighter multi-marque show and charity brunch held at the private Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach and open to cars beyond Ferrari. Around the two show days sit dinners, a seminar program and the social apparatus of a Florida February weekend.
The event moved in 2026 from The Breakers, its long-time Palm Beach home, to The Boca Raton, about twenty-five miles south; the organizer attributes the move to its own growth and to a multi-year renovation at The Breakers. The name has not changed. Cavallino also runs editions in Monaco, the Middle East and, from 2027, Modena.
01重要性说明
For a certain kind of Ferrari, Cavallino is the award that counts. Because judging follows the IAC/PFA guidelines rather than a house standard, a Platinum here is a portable statement about a car's originality, and it travels with the car through subsequent sales in a way that a general concours award does not. That makes the event unusually consequential relative to its size.
In our reading, its second function is calendar position. Falling in February, it is the first serious gathering of the American collecting year after the holidays and the opening of the Palm Beach winter season, and it draws the Northeast collecting world south for a weekend before the Amelia in March. It is a small event with an outsized effect on how one marque is valued.
02前后一周
February is the height of the Palm Beach season, and the concours sits inside a crowded few weeks — the boat show, the art and antiques fairs and the polo season at Wellington all fall in the same stretch. The event itself is contained within two resorts and does not change the character of either town; what it changes is the traffic of transporters along Federal Highway and the number of Ferraris visible on A1A. Boca Raton is quieter and more residential than Palm Beach and the concours weekend is one of its busier ones.
Anyone building a Florida February can reasonably attach this to the boat show earlier in the month or run it into Wellington on the way through.
03抵达时间
Arrive Thursday or Friday morning; the program opens Friday and the concours is Saturday. Sunday's brunch and show at Mar-a-Lago closes the weekend around the middle of the day, which makes a Sunday evening departure straightforward. Three nights covers it comfortably.
04住宿地点
The Boca Raton itself is the event hotel and the organizer releases a block at preferential rates to ticket holders on a first-come basis; staying there removes every transport problem the weekend has. Beyond it, downtown Boca Raton and the Route A1A beachfront have ordinary hotel stock within a few minutes. Palm Beach and West Palm Beach, twenty-five to thirty minutes north, are the better base if you are also doing the Sunday at Mar-a-Lago or anything else in the Palm Beach season, at the cost of two commutes. Delray Beach, ten minutes south, is the pleasant middle option with the best independent restaurants.
05出入与接待
The organizer publishes a clear tier structure. General admission covers the concours; children are admitted free and the organizer offers a 50 percent discount to young visitors and to local public safety workers and their families in Palm Beach, West Palm Beach and Boca Raton. Above that sit Cavallino VIP, the Cavallino Patron ticket giving full access to the weekend program, and an all-inclusive 'Enjoy the Cavallino Weekend' package that bundles every event, a room at The Boca Raton and airport transfers. Patron and package holders receive valet parking at the resort; other ticket holders park off site and use a free shuttle. VIP, Patron and package guests get a served lunch in a reserved area; general admission guests use the resort's restaurants and on-site food trucks.
Presenting a car requires an application to the selection committee, and transport to the event is at the owner's cost. Bidding, judging accreditation and press access are all handled separately.
06社交活动场所
The resort grounds during the concours and the resort's own bars and restaurants in the evenings; the reserved lunch areas for the upper tiers; and the Sunday brunch at Mar-a-Lago, which is a private club and admits only ticket holders. Off site, Delray Beach's Atlantic Avenue and the Palm Beach and West Palm Beach restaurant districts absorb the weekend's dinners. There is no public street element to this event of the kind Monterey or Brescia have.

09历史
Cavallino magazine, founded in 1978, established the Classic in 1992 as a gathering of Ferrari owners in Palm Beach. It grew from a club meeting into a formally judged concours, adopting the IAC/PFA framework and building an award structure — Platinum, Gold and Silver, with class and preservation categories — that the Ferrari world came to treat as authoritative. For most of its life it was based at The Breakers, with a track element at nearby circuits in some years and the Sunday show on a Palm Beach lawn.
The organization has since exported the format. A Monaco edition ran in April 2026 as, in the organizer's description, the first concours dedicated exclusively to Ferrari Formula 1 cars, with Michael Schumacher's F2004 taking Best of Show; a Middle East edition runs in December, and a Modena edition is planned for May 2027. The 2026 Palm Beach edition was the thirty-fifth and the first at The Boca Raton.

Ferrari owners and their families, many of them repeat entrants over decades; the IAC/PFA judging community and marque historians; Ferrari specialists, restorers and dealers; Cavallino magazine's readership; and a Florida winter-season social crowd for the Sunday brunch. The audience is narrower than a general concours and the proportion of owners to spectators is high.
