Estándares editoriales

Última actualización: October 2026

1. Independence

No event, organizer, destination, hotel or brand pays to be listed, to be scored, or to be described in a particular way. Where a commercial relationship exists — a sponsored placement, an affiliate link — it is labelled at the point of use and kept in separate database tables that no editorial or ranking query reads. Sponsored content is always marked “Sponsored”.

2. Facts and judgments

Dates, venues, ticketing structures and hospitality programmes are facts and carry sources. Why an event matters, what a week feels like and where the social center of a town sits are editorial judgments and are written as such. We do not present the second kind as the first.

3. Private events and individuals

We describe public places — harbours, hotel terraces, fair halls, racecourse enclosures, restaurant districts — and the publicly announced programme around an event. We do not describe private parties, publish guest lists, or speculate about which individuals attend. Reporting by named publications about the public dimension of an event may be cited; nothing is invented to fill a gap.

4. Sources

Event information relies primarily on official event websites, organizers, venues, governing bodies, government tourism organizations and recognized institutions; secondary publications are used when appropriate and named. Every event and destination page lists its sources. News items are aggregated from named publishers and always link to the original; we summarize, we do not republish.

5. Uncertainty

A date that has not been published by its organizer is shown as Expected, Date pending or Historical pattern, never as Confirmed. Where a fact is unavailable the page says so rather than estimating. Circuit Scores are labelled provisional.

6. Language

We write for an internationally minded, curious reader and assume nothing about their means. We avoid the vocabulary of exclusivity and the clichés of luxury marketing. We do not use trademarks to imply affiliation; event names belong to their owners.

7. AI assistance

Research assistance is used in compiling and cross-checking records and in translating the interface. It is not used to invent facts: a date without a source is not stored, and every record states its confidence. Ask the Data answers only from the site’s own records. No image on the site is generated.

8. Corrections

Errors of fact are corrected promptly and recorded in the change log; material corrections are noted on the page. See the corrections policy.
