01참석 대상
Tennis has the most evenly international public of any sport on this site, and the circuit's followers are correspondingly broad: the players' entourages and the sport's sponsors, the members of the host clubs, the corporate hospitality market that fills the boxes at Wimbledon and Flushing Meadows, and a general public that buys tickets in the hundreds of thousands. The Riviera and Rome legs in spring draw the crowd that will be at Cannes and Monaco a month later; Wimbledon draws the British season's; the US Open draws New York's.
02이 행사들의 연관성
The tour connects them. The four majors are fixed by the calendar year, Melbourne in January, Paris in late May and June, Wimbledon at the turn of June and July, New York at the turn of August and September, and the Masters-level events are placed between them: Indian Wells and Miami in March, Monte-Carlo, Madrid and Rome in April and May as the clay season leading to Roland-Garros, Queen's Club as the grass warm-up for Wimbledon, the Laver Cup in September and the ATP Finals in Turin in November as the ends. The order rarely changes, and the surfaces explain it.

Wimbledon's second week and the US Open's second week are the natural blocks, each covering the quarter-finals to the final in a city worth being in. Roland-Garros' first week is the least crowded of the four majors' and the best weather bet. Monte-Carlo in April is the one to pair with the Riviera before the season starts. Wimbledon's ticket ballot opens the previous autumn; debenture and hospitality seats are the alternative and are priced accordingly by their sellers.

Roland-Garros' second week now coincides with the Monaco Grand Prix and the Epsom Derby. Wimbledon's first week overlaps Henley Royal Regatta and the Paris couture shows; its second overlaps the Goodwood Festival of Speed in some years and the British Grand Prix in others. The US Open's first week shares the calendar with the Venice Film Festival, the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup and Telluride, and its second with New York Fashion Week's start. Monte-Carlo coincides with Watches and Wonders in Geneva and the Masters in Augusta.
